Hong Kong Institute of Professional & Higher Education is committed to provide a variety of life-long and life-wide educational opportunities to people in Hong Kong for self-improvement and career advancement. The missions of HKIPHE are:-
- to offer most flexible learning opportunities for people in Hong Kong to upgrade their knowledge, skills and qualifications, and/or to enhance their appreciation of life;
- to conduct professional activities and research into manpower, educational and training needs, into the effectiveness of different learning modes;
- to provide high quality programmes and course leading to degree or diploma level study;
- to develop the Institute as the first international recognised private professional institute in Hong Kong.
The Institute will keep on strengthening its commitment to the most flexible and high quality life-long education in Hong Kong. To achieve this commitment, the Institute is continuing to develop close and cooperative relationship with various local and overseas professional bodies and educational establishments around the world, and is keen to develop new programmes in different learning modes in anticipation of and in response to community needs.
